Arrived in New Zealand Nicki and Michael and Nicki were very welcoming. Only in New Zealand would you find a couch on the beach!!

Not very clear but I thought I would photograph Mount Everest!!

Back on the plane for an 8 and a half hour flight. Henry hardly moves for the whole flight watching one film 3 times - he is in his element!!

After staying in Langkawi a week we flew to Singapore to spend a day with Jaime's Auntie Ruth (Jaime's mum's sister) who showed us around part of Singapore - very busy place as the population is very high - that's the reason for the high rises apparently.

We stayed in the rainforest in Langkawi with the monkeys. There were two types of monkeys friendly ones and other ones which were more aggressive. We went to see the Mangroves on a boat and went to a fish farm and out to see where there were millions of coloured fish which Henry fed.

This is the beach near the Berjaha Hotel. The sea was sooo warm.

Hello From NZ

We are now in New Zealand. Jaime is working in Auckland and Henry and I are staying in Mount Manganui with Nicki, Michael and Tazmin. The weather is glorious around 25 degrees so we are out and about most days at the beach etc. I have booked Henry into some swimming lessons which is just around the corner from where we are staying and he is now learning front crawl!!

We had a great time in Langkawi, Malaysia. We stayed in the rainforest with monkeys. Whilst we were having breakfast one day we saw a King Python sliding nearby on the level below which was very interesting - apparently they tend to come nearer to the buildings etc to get away from the rainy season. Also there was a lizard swimming in the swimming pool. It was a great place to be and I could do with another week there. It was very hot/humid and although the weather was rainy sometime (I sunbathed in the rain with a cocktail by the pool) the sun shone lots and lots and it was idilic.
